More Math Awards

Congratulations to our elementary and middle school math teams who participated in the Math Olympiads competition this year. Math Olympiads is a yearlong series of five contests that provides students training in creative problem solving skills in mathematics. Both Birchwood teams received the "Highest Team Achievement" award, meaning they scored in the top 10% of all 4,638 competing schools. In addition, among the 103,045 competing students, seven Birchwood students earned a gold pin, scoring among the top 2%, and 19 students earned a silver pin, scoring among the top 10%.
